Elite’s Osprey Tension Dual projection screen is made for today’s anamorphic projectors in residential applications. It provides an alternating projection surface that matches the variable aspect ratios of a 16:9/2.35:1 projector. With the focus on simplicity and a long operational lifespan, the Osprey Tension Dual runs two separate motorized projection screens as a singular unit. One screen is a native 2.35:1(Cinemascope) while the other and a 16:9 (HDTV). Both screens are then readily available at the viewer’s discretion as they run in tandem with the push of a button. The purpose to this design is to maintain a consistently centered and formatted image aligned with the projector’s lens memory regardless of it being a HDTV or Widescreen format. The Osprey utilizes Elite’s award winning CineWhite 1.1 gain, matte white tension material. It has superb color neutrality, wide diffusion uniformity and a black backing to eliminate light penetration. As is customary with Elite’s electric screens, a full control package is included with IR and RF receivers, remotes, an RJ45 port for low-voltage Ethernet operation and an external wall switch.
